OMAHA, Neb., Oct. 19, 2026 – Omaha-based AltoSky, Inc., which works with clients across the US and around the world, today announced that it has rebuilt its business around artificial intelligence. The company, in technology since 2010, now leads with two services: AI development, which is custom AI built around a company's own information, and AI for business, which puts AI to work in how a company already runs. Websites, web apps, portals, internal tools, automations and hosting continue as the supporting work around the AI.
The change targets a familiar gap. Small and mid-size businesses know AI matters, but few have anyone to build it, connect it to their systems and get their team using it. At AltoSky, one team plans the work, builds it, puts it to work and keeps improving it.
From internet tools to AI
Over the years, AltoSky sold broadband internet and partner wireless plans, built websites, and hosted and managed sites on servers it runs itself. Under the banner "Tools for the Internet," it offered small businesses a cloud suite that included a CRM, email marketing, file sharing and social media tools, and, more recently, an early generative AI chat product.
Then AI changed what a small team can build. AltoSky narrowed its focus, put AI at the center and relaunched altosky.com in October 2026 around the new model. The older standalone products, including the CRM, email marketing, file sharing, social media and AI chat tools, and the broadband and wireless plans, were retired with the relaunch, and current users of anything still running are being contacted directly by the AltoSky team.
What AltoSky offers now
- AI development. Assistants that answer from a company's own documents, AI features inside its apps, and AI-powered tools such as a quote builder that drafts a first quote from a customer email for a person to approve.
- AI for business. AltoSky finds where AI saves real time, connects the right tools to a company's data and systems, adds AI steps that read, sort, draft and route work, and trains the team to use them.
- Built around it. Websites, web apps, portals, internal tools and automations, including fast rebuilds of old WordPress sites.
- Hosting, looked after. When AltoSky hosts what it builds, or takes over a client's site, updates, nightly off-site backups, SSL and server monitoring are included, with 24/7 support.
How the work runs
Every project starts with a written plan and a quote. AI drafts; developers review, test and decide what ships. Clients often see a first working version within days and own the code and content AltoSky builds for them. Before anything is switched on, AltoSky tells clients which AI tools touch their data and how it is handled. For medical practices, AltoSky signs HIPAA business associate agreements once the right safeguards and partner agreements are in place for the project.
Results
Frisco Brands replaced five tools with one portal built with AltoSky. Each team member figures they're saving several hours a week, and Frisco saves at least 30 hours a week on lot tracing alone.
What existing clients get
Clients who host their websites with AltoSky keep the same team, the hosting package above and the same support promise: every request gets an immediate AI response, and AltoSky guarantees a response within four hours, day or night. When they're ready, they can start an AI project with a team that already knows their business. Existing clients will hear directly from the AltoSky team about anything that affects them.
"For more than a decade we've built and run the technology businesses depend on: their connections, their websites, their servers and their software," said the AltoSky team. "AI changed what a small team can build, and how fast. Owners don't need another AI subscription that never gets set up. They need AI doing real work on their own information, a person checking what it produces, and a team that answers when they call. That's the business we're in now."
